Internship - P&C Corporate Actuary - (F/H) - 6

**Department description**

Group Performance Management (GPM) - P&C Actuarial team is based in Paris and Madrid. The team, lead by the AXA Group Actuarial Function Holder, is composed of c.10 international actuaries organized in two major scopes: Pricing & Profitability and Reserving & Reinsurance.

GPM is a Group finance department which offers a unique and centralized point of contact for all business performance monitoring matters. The team is working in close collaboration with entities’ top Management and Group central functions (Operations, HR and technical teams) to feed the top management with accurate information.

**Main Purpose**

P&C Actuarial team is looking for an intern to join the Pricing & Profitability team. The main mission is to support the activity of the team and specifically focus on one of the key projects of the team, according to their appetence and priorities.

**Main Activities**

As a member of the team, you will be excepted to:

- Take part of the Actuarial Function Holder activities.
- Work on Technical Excellence related projects at AXA, such as
- Transformation of Pricing methodologies and tools and underlying challenges (automated tools, AI, pricing fairness )
- Geographical analysis and Data Enrichment (geocoding, data acquisition, usage, and estimated impact on the business)
- Supporting the maturity transformation of our entities.
- Study financial and non-financial performances, with a particular attention to growth and profitability on a challenging inflationist environment.
- Attend regular committees as a member of the AXA Pricing Community and contribute by sharing and presenting the results, enriching AXA Body of Knowledge.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Required skills**
- Actuarial/Data background, mathematical knowledge in statistics, strong analytical skills.
- Verbal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and acquire autonomy.
- English, French is a plus.

**Experience**

None required, but experience in non-life insurance pricing and/or data science appreciated.
