Backend Software Engineer

**Who are we looking for**:
We are looking for a skilled **Backend Developer** to create and support APIs and services for P2P Staking Platform.

**You will work on**:

- Developing and continuously enhancing the **backend** for our **staking API**, including related services and SDKs.
- Building and integrating with **internal** and **third-party services** to ensure clients receive accurate and reliable data.
- Focus on improving the **security**, **performance**, and **stability** of our products to deliver a seamless user experience.

**You have**:

- **6+ years of experience** with **Node.js** and a strong understanding of back-end development principles.
- Strong knowledge of **relational** and **document-oriented databases**, such as **PostgreSQL** and **MongoDB**, with a focus on architecture and best practices.
- Solid understanding of **RESTful API design principles**.
- Understanding of **caching strategies** and efficient **cache invalidation**.
- Experience with **monitoring, profiling**, and **optimizing code** for performance and scalability. We are using tools like **New Relic**, **Grafana**, and **Graylog**.
- Familiarity with **Docker** and **DevOps basics** for building environment-independent projects.
- Proven experience in **collaborative team environments** with open communication.
- ** Proficiency in spoken English** for effective team communication.
- A degree in **technical higher education**.

**Nice to have**:

- Experience with **Nest.js**.
- Basic knowledge of how **blockchain networks** based on **Proof-of-Stake consensus** work.
- Experience with **cloud platforms** (e.g., Google Cloud, Heroku, AWS) and the ability to build with their limitations and strengths in mind.
