Within the framework of a job creation, we are recruiting **Mechantronics Engineer, **You actively participate in the definition and development of new standardized solutions to meet new market demands. The heart of your mission is related to automation and more particularly to robotics for which you develop solutions either internally or with the support of partners in order to expand Desoutter's offer on this market. You then provide the necessary technical support internally to ensure the deployment and commercial success of these solutions. You also carry out studies and programs for unit projects sold to customers.

Development of solutions with a strong focus on automation:

- Build concepts to present internally and to customers
- Design the necessary software and hardware (electrical and electronics)
- Manage interconnectivity between systems (PLC and fieldbus for example)
- Develop the solutions and implement first projects
- Evaluate products from potential partners
- Be the technical leader for all discussions and projects with robot manufacturers and integrators
- Be the technical leader for all discussions and projects with partners working on automation related topics
- Feed the marketing with market insights based on everything you learn from your interaction with robot manufacturers, partners and customers
- Assist the marketing to build the launch pack

A smaller part of your mission will be to develop solutions that fulfil specific customer requirements. For these customer projects, you:

- Assist the project leader in the definition of the technical solution and in building the specification
- Estimate the time necessary to realize the project for the scope that is related to your competences in order for the project leader to quote
- Develop automatism programs embedded in the tightening controllers : CVILogix (IsaGRAF) or other
- Develop computer program : PC or HMI
- Make the electrical drawings in ePlan
- Make the technical documentation for the portion of the project you design
- Participate to pre-acceptance tests on Nantes site prior to shipment
- Support the customer centers in implementing the solution (remotely or on site if necessary)

Customer center support:

- Support the customer centers for implementation of the solutions developed by the Expertise and Innovation Center and answer all technical questions
- Be the technical referent on your field of expertise for the customer centers

**Mechantronics Engineer diploma**

**Significant experience in a similar role, ideally in a special machine environment. Demonstrated skills in computer programming, automation, electronics, electrical schematics, robot control and interfacing, field network. Production of electrical diagrams. Mechanical skills required**
