**ABOUT NLOPTICS**:

**Poste et missions**:
**THE POSITION**:

- We are looking for an **R&D Application Engineer** to strengthen our technical and operational team. You will work on strategic projects, bringing your expertise in materials science and providing ongoing operational support. Reporting to the founding team, you will be responsible for:

- Deploying and supporting the use of inspection solutions developed by NLOPTICS.
- Managing demonstration and collaboration projects with our customers and partners (industrial and academic).
- Participating in the promotion and integration of our technology into the manufacturing processes of photonics and semiconductor companies.
- Contributing to experimental activities involving the characterization and analysis of advanced materials.

**MAIN MISSIONS**:

- Lead R&D, feasibility and demonstration projects for our customers (design of experiments, analyses, reporting of results).
- Manage the logístical aspects of sample preparation.
- Actively participate in measurement campaigns on advanced materials (metals, dielectrics, ferroelectrics, semiconductors, glasses, etc.).
- Optimize measurement protocols and data processing tools.
- Represent NLOPTICS at conferences, trade fairs, and technical events.

**Profil**:
**DESIRED PROFILE**:
**PhD** or **engineering degree** or **master's** degree in materials science, applied physics, optics/photonics or a related discipline.
- Experience in an experimental laboratory (academic or industrial) is desired.

**Technical skills**
- Solid knowledge of optics (ideally in nonlinear optics and/or photonics).
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and issues related to semiconductors and advanced materials.
- Knowledge of materials science (semiconductors, dielectrics, oxides).
- Skills in experimental instrumentation and metrology.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex experimental data.
- Good level of English (presentations, reports, customer exchanges).
