**About the role**
We are looking for a **Contract manager (M/F)** to join our team at Sens (Yonne) location for a temporary contract of 6 months.
The Contracts Manager will support the Surface Technologies (Middle East) Southern Europe & Africa ((ME)-SEA) geomarket and the primary responsibilities shall be:
- Review, negotiate and administer all contracts with the clients of TechnipFMC to reduce risk and ensure compliance with rules, regulations, policies and standards of the group.
- Lead the negotiation of agreements with clients, particularly with regard to the form of the agreement, specific conditions, financial guarantees, requirements in terms of insurance, negotiation and approval of deviations, etc.
- Manage, coordinate and monitor all corporate, contractual and legal matters related to the MESEA region.
- Support the sales department on contractual activities during the contract execution phase (legal and commercial conditions).
- Support the Surface Management team in the identification and assessment of contractual risks.
- Support and advise departments of TechnipFMC on contractual matters. Work in collaboration with the legal team of TFMC.
- Ensure updation of all contractual documentation.
- Understand and ensure that all applicable TechnipFMC contractual terms, policies and procedures are represented in all new and existing agreements.
**You are meant for this job if you have**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
- Between eight (8) to twelve (12) years’ experience in legal and commercial/contracts’ review matters, in relation to oil and gas industry.
- Minimum three (3) years experience working with the Southern Europe, Africa regions in the oil and gas industry.
- Excellent knowledge of contractual terms and conditions with the ability to identify and mitigate contractual risk.
- Analytical and problem-solving, operational minded. Interprets internal and external business challenges with impact on the organization and recommends best practice solutions.
- Participates in establishing global contract standards and ensures compliance, anticipating when to consult with other departmental functions.
- Excellent ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive enquires.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet individual deadlines and manage priorities, as well as team deadlines. The employee must be able to work as part of a team, as well as manage a team if so required.
- Capacity to coordinate with various departments on several non-related matters.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Accuracy and attention to detail is critical.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English as well as French (another language such as Arabic would be a plus).
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and coaching, performance management, and respond appropriately.
- Understanding and communication within diverse cultural environments is critical.
