We're hiring Local Marketing Specialist – France

Location: Paris and inner suburbs area | Contract: Full-time

Are you passionate about marketing, social media, and brand activation but also about Smart Home and innovative products ?

We're looking for a Local Marketing Specialist to help grow Imou's visibility and engagement in the French market. You'll manage digital campaigns, local partnerships, and in-store activations — working at the crossroads of marketing, retail, and communication.

What you'll do

  • Plan and execute the local social media strategy (content calendar, creation, publishing, community management, local paid ads) with bthe across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Keep the French website up to date (content, landing pages, SEO basics, analytics) using our CMS.
  • Act as the main contact for PR agencies and media — manage press releases, interviews, and events.
  • Design and run channel marketing and retail activations with distributors, e-commerce, and retail partners (inline and offline).
  • Coordinate POS materials, goodies, and in-store promotions with Key Accounts and identify possible local suppliers.
  • Manage local marketing budgets, vendor invoicing, and reimbursement processes.
  • Track and report campaign and retail KPIs, and share insights with the regional team.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Report to the Country Manager on project progress and the performance of implemented actions.

What we're looking for

  • Native French speaker with fluent English (spoken & written).
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
  • 3+ years of experience in local or retail marketing (consumer electronics or smart home a plus).
  • Hands-on experience with social media, PR, and POS activations.
  • Strong project and budget management skills.
  • Comfortable with tools like Canva/Photoshop, Google Analytics, Excel, ChatGPT.
  • Knowledge of French marketing regulations and GDPR.
  • Work from home with regular in-person meetings.
  • Strong interest in Smart Home and Tech products.
  • Highly driven by results and customer satisfaction.
