Job Summary:

Alteia is seeking a talented and passionate Computer Graphics Engineer to join our dynamic team. Our platform leverages AI and vast datasets from drones, planes, and satellites to monitor thousands of miles of critical infrastructure. In this role, you will build the high-performance 3D engine that brings this massive, complex reality data to life. This role is central to our platform, as you will be responsible for creating the interactive web experiences that allow our users to visualize, edit, and analyze their biggest assets in 3D.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and optimize the core components of our 3D web visualization engine.
  • Tackle the challenge of rendering and interacting with massive 3D datasets (point clouds, meshes) from LiDAR and photogrammetry.
  • Develop intuitive tools and APIs for 3D interaction, editing, and data analysis directly in the browser.
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and product managers to create a seamless, responsive, and powerful 3D user experience.
  • Research and implement new rendering techniques and data structures to push the boundaries of web-based 3D performance.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience with 3D web graphics, with deep knowledge of or Babylon.Strong proficiency in an Object-Oriented language (JavaScript/TypeScript highly preferred).A keen sensibility for 3D UX/UI, with a strong understanding of what makes a 3D application intuitive and effective.
  • Solid grasp of core computer graphics principles (rendering pipelines, optimization, 3D math).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative, product-focused mindset.
  • (Big Plus) Experience with C++ is highly appreciated.
  • (Bonus) Familiarity with geospatial data (LiDAR, point clouds, photogrammetry) is a plus.
