This team, reports into Finance, works closely with business units in Europe and APAC to deliver high-impact projects such as EBITDA improvement, cost optimisation, and process automation. Data Science & AI are strategic priorities for our shareholders and play a fundamental role in our ambition to become a fully data-driven organisation, where analytics supports every key decision.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role, working directly with business teams across Europe and APAC. Under the guidance of the Data Science Manager, you will apply advanced analytics and machine learning to deliver tangible business value.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying high-value business opportunities.
- Acquiring, preparing, and modelling data (statistical and machine learning approaches).
- Deploying solutions, monitoring their impact, and driving business adoption.
We are seeking exclusively a final-year student pursuing a Master's degree in a quantitative field
(Maths, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) from a top university or business school. This role could lead to a full-time Junior Data Scientist position.
Required Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and team collaboration.
- Machine learning & statistics - advanced Python needed.
- Data transformation & engineering - basic SQL needed.
- Experience with statistical analysis or machine learning projects (academic, research, or competitions).
- Ability to translate data into actionable business solutions.
- Fluent English language skills.
- Fluent French will be considered an advantage.
- Data visualisation - Power BI will be considered an advantage.
- Working knowledge of Azure data services will be considered an advantage.
Location and Work Environment
The position is based in Paris – La Défense, with a hybrid working policy (2 days in the office). Occasional travel may be required to visit sites or meet project stakeholders.
