We're building the next generation of automated warehouse systems — fast, modular, and space-efficient.

We are looking for an
experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer
to take a leading role in developing the core firmware that powers our robotic systems. You will work at the intersection of motion control, sensing, and system integration—building the software foundations that make our system precise, reliable, and scalable.

This role is hands-on, highly technical, and central to the evolution of our product. You will collaborate closely with the Mechatronics Team Lead, Mechanical Engineering, and Validation to bring features from concept to field-ready deployment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop embedded firmware
    for our robotic platforms, including:

Hardware drivers for sensors, actuators, and communication interfaces

Real-time control logic and state machines

Communication protocols, diagnostics, and system orchestration

  • Work closely with the team lead
to ensure seamless integration of firmware with mechanical, electrical, and software subsystems.
  • Lead and support
    bring-up activities
, system tuning, and integration testing.
  • Participate in
    field deployments
, including on-site debugging, optimization, and iterative improvements.
  • Collaborate with validation engineers to improve automated test coverage, reliability, and robustness.
  • Contribute to documentation, coding standards, architecture decisions, and best practices.

Required Skills

  • 4–7 years of professional experience in embedded firmware development.
  • Background in robotics, motion control, or autonomous systems.
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ for microcontrollers (e.g., ESP32, STM32, or similar).
  • Experience with real-time systems, Zephyr RTOS particularly, and hardware abstraction layers.
  • Solid understanding of electronics fundamentals: GPIO, SPI, I2C, UART, PWM, ADCs, motor drivers, etc.
  • Experience integrating sensors, actuators, and control loops.
  • Comfort with debug tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, JTAG/SWD, serial sniffers).
  • Familiarity with version control, embedded CI workflows, and structured development processes.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to dive into complex system-level issues.
  • Fluent
    English
    (spoken and written)

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with tooling or test automation.
  • Exposure to industrial communication protocols (CAN, RS485, Modbus, etc.).
  • Knowledge of safety systems, fault detection, and diagnostic frameworks.
  • CAN bus integration
  • PID control tuning
  • CI/CD pipelines

Team Fit

  • We value autonomy and the drive to create foundational solutions.
  • You'll have the liberty to steer projects from conception to realization in a rewarding environment that cherishes innovation and simplicity.

Why Join Us

  • Own and shape the firmware that drives a next-generation robotic product.
  • Work in a fast-moving environment where firmware directly impacts system performance.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (mechanical, electrical, validation, and production).
  • See your work deployed in real warehouses with immediate, measurable impact.
