Landauer is a company driven by innovation in radiation safety and dosimetry services, offering you the opportunity to grow your expertise in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment where your contribution truly matters.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly accounting activities for the French, Swedish, and UK entities.
- Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Perform monthly GL close activities: balance sheet and P&L reviews, intercompany reconciliations, and reporting.
- Maintain and reconcile subledgers such as account receivables, fixed assets, inventory, payroll, and other related accounts.
- Prepare and review VAT and other indirect tax declarations, ensuring compliance with local tax laws.
- Support corporate tax packs and statutory reporting under local GAAP, and assist with US GAAP reporting for consolidation.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and support tax and compliance reviews.
- Participate in process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives within the finance function.
Your Team:
You will report to the Finance Director EMEA and be part of a team of five professionals across Europe. The team is international, diverse, and collaborative, fostering a culture of learning, accountability, and operational excellence.
What We Are Looking For:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in general ledger accounting, ideally in an international or multi-entity environment.
- Strong understanding of GL processes, VAT, and tax compliance.
- Experience with fixed assets, inventory, and intercompany accounting.
- Knowledge of local GAAP and US GAAP reporting.
- Proficiency in English and French (written and spoken).
- Experience with Oracle or another ERP system preferred.
Personal Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail.
- Organized, adaptable, and capable of meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Proactive, curious, and eager to improve processes and drive efficiency.
- Reliable, collaborative, and self-motivated with a sense of ownership.
What You Get:
- The opportunity to work across three European entities in a global organization.
- Exposure to double reporting (Local GAAP and US GAAP) and international tax compliance.
- A hybrid working model promoting flexibility and work-life balance.
- Continuous learning opportunities through Fortive's development programs.
- A competitive compensation package with benefits, and a culture that values your growth and contribution.
