Energy Infrastructure Manager

As Energy Infrastructure Manager for France, you will play a strategic role in shaping Goodman's energy infrastructure approach. Acting as a bridge between technical experts, development teams, and executive decision-makers, you will define direction, challenge assumptions, and ensure strategic alignment across energy projects.
While this role includes oversight of selected operational activities, the primary focus is on strategy, innovation, and stakeholder engagement to ensure Goodman identifies, develops, and implements forward-looking energy solutions effectively.
The successful candidate will drive grid-related strategy, champion innovative energy solutions, and support Goodman's growth through reliable and efficient infrastructure planning.

 More concretely, this means you will get the opportunity to:

Strategic leadership

• Build and maintain strong relationships with DNO, TSO, regulatory bodies, and other key energy stakeholders to ensure strategic collaboration and compliance with evolving energy policies.
• Analyse and provide strategic solutions for challenges in the current and upcoming regulatory environment.
• Define and implement Goodman's energy infrastructure strategy in France in close collaboration with the CE Power team.
• Identify new energy infrastructure products, technologies, and business models aligned with Goodman's growth objectives.

Innovation & technology assessment

• Provide strategic direction and critical assessment for innovative projects, such as utility-scale BESS, small modular reactors, and other advanced energy systems.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies or partnerships with stakeholders like power plant operators, energy trading companies, or tech developers to enhance Goodman's energy infrastructure offering.

Oversight & coordination

• Oversee the grid connection process of large infrastructure projects such as data centres, ensuring projects comply with technical and regulatory frameworks.
• Support internal teams, consultants, and contractors to deliver grid-related projects effectively, providing guidance and strategic oversight rather than hands-on execution.
• Provide insights and advice on grid capacity, technical feasibility, and energy planning to support business decision-making.

  Do you  recognize yourself?

• You have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, Power Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in grid management, energy infrastructure, or power system planning.
• Strong understanding of energy regulations in France
• You bring a proven experience of collaborating with the French TSO and DNO, or energy regulator.
• You are familiar with power grid operations, renewable energy integration, smart grid technologies, and energy storage solutions.
• you are able to manage multiple energy projects and coordinate between stakeholders effectively.
• You are capable of assessing complex grid challenges and providing innovative solutions.
• You know how  to influence decision-making and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in French and English is required
