As an Analyst within the Global Sales and Marketing Bank Coverage team, you will play a key role in supporting our distribution and sourcing activities. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will help our salespeople effectively map bank clients and ensure we capture all relevant loan opportunities.

Job responsibilities

  • Participate in daily team calls to stay informed and aligned.
  • Take ownership of the pipeline report, ensuring it is accurate and current.
  • Prepare and distribute a weekly distressed market update for our bank clients.
  • Assist in producing daily information and insights for the desk.
  • Capturing missed trades, opportunities.
  • Managing distribution lists etc.
  • Help provide coverage of client banks across IG, Infrastructure, Crossover, and LBO loans.
  • After a training period, support the bank coverage sales team by providing market colour and indicative pricing on relevant target names.
  • Back up accounts when sales team members are traveling.
  • Ensure open lines of communication regarding sales from JPM CPG/Excess and par corporate loan secondary trading.
  • Collaborate with capital markets and origination teams for primary activies.
  • Explore portfolio trades, including RCFs and off-balance sheet financing opportunities.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent technical and numerical abilities.
  • Ability to understand complex topics and explain them clearly to others.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to identify future business opportunities.
  • Proven relationship-building skills.
  • High level of integrity and awareness of JPMorgan's controls and risk parameters.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Bloomberg and analytical functions.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and well-organized.
  • Effective time management skills.

  • Experience in a credit-based role.
