Vice President, Industrial Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership Across the Organisation
  • Reporting to CEO, the VP will develop and drive Lynxeo's industrial strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's ambitious long-term vision and business objectives.
  • Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on industrial operations, offering insights and recommendations to optimise business performance.
  • Lead major transformation projects to enhance productivity, sustainability, and scalability of Lynxeo's operations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence by implementing best-inclass processes, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure synergy between industrial operations and other business functions such as finance, procurement, and R&D.
  • Establish a structured governance model that promotes accountability, transparency, and alignment across all plants and operations globally.
  • Improve Plant Performance 2.1. Monitor
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive system for monitoring production data, ensuring accurate real-time visibility into plant performance.
  • Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks by analysing production metrics and operational data to proactively address potential issues and opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with plant managers to review performance data, assess trends, and drive accountability for production goals through regular performance reviews and strategic discussions.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks to provide actionable insights that support continuous improvement initiatives and align with overall business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards through ongoing production oversight and data-driven decision-making, fostering a culture of operational discipline and excellence.

2.2. Diagnose

  • Develop and implement a structured framework to systematically identify, prioritise, and address operational challenges through data-driven methodologies.
  • Conduct detailed root-cause analysis of production inefficiencies, engaging plant managers and operations teams to uncover underlying issues and develop targeted solutions.
  • Utilise data analytics, industry benchmarks, and best practices to pinpoint high-impact opportunities for improvement and establish key performance indicators.
  • Establish a standardised approach to assessing operational health, providing clear criteria for decision-making and resource allocation to achieve strategic objectives.

  • Execute bold, strategic initiatives to drive efficiency gains and operational excellence across global facilities, enhancing productivity and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead the implementation of process improvements, automation, and lean methodologies to optimise performance and streamline workflows.
  • Work collaboratively with plant managers and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of transformation initiatives with measurable impact.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by empowering teams to embrace change, innovation, and operational best practices.
  • Measure the impact of transformation efforts through performance metrics and refine strategies to achieve long-term sustainability and competitiveness in the market.

Qualifications And Experience

  • 15+ years of experience in industrial operations, manufacturing, or production leadership within global, multi-plant environments.
  • Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence, process standardization, and efficiency improvements.
  • Strong experience with CAPEX planning and execution.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale strategic projects and business transformations.
  • Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed.
