My client is a B2B2C tech scale -up (80 employees, €40M turnover), historically positioned on the US market, offering their solution to major retailers. The next challenge: expanding this model internationally, starting with Europe (France, UK, Germany…) and North America.To support this growth, the company is building its Business Development team and is recruiting a Senior Business Developer (M/F) – a curious, autonomous profile capable of opening new retail accounts across long and complex sales cycles.This role is for you if you're driven by international commercial challenges, thrive in non -linear environments, and want to actively contribute to the growth of an ambitious scale -up. Additional InformationPermanent contract (CDI)Based in Toulouse (on -site)Hiring process: 3 interviews + 1 business caseSalary: €55–65k fixed + profit -sharing + many perks (relocation package, etc.) ResponsibilitiesReporting directly to the BD Manager and in close collaboration with the Product, Marketing, Finance and Account Management teams, you will be involved across the full sales cycle:Identify high -potential markets and target retail partnersLead end -to -end prospecting: market mapping, outreach, qualification, pitchingTailor your approach to fit an indirect business model (evangelization, value proof, partnership logic)Convince and negotiate with C -level stakeholders within international groupsConvert opportunities into signed partnerships and ensure smooth internal handoverBe the voice of the market internally and contribute to improving offers and sales processesSupport the structuring of the BizDev team (non -managerial role, but expected to act as a senior reference)Challenge the team's practices and share your sales methodology Profil Minimum 6 years of experience in B2B business development, with significant international exposureYou have already opened a new market from scratch and led complex negotiations with high -level partnersAbility to thrive in a start -up/scale -up environment where adaptability is keyComfortable with long sales cycles (12+ months), multi -stakeholder negotiations, and the absence of pre -built solutionsFluent professional English is essential (negotiation, presentations, deal closing)Strong listening skills, analytical mindset, and ease in proposing tailored solutionsYou enjoy working in a team, sharing your methods, and learning from othersYou are execution -driven, not afraid to pick up the phone or initiate a meeting when neededExperience in the retail industry or an indirect B2B model is a strong plus
