Job DescriptionThis is a remote position.Join one of the Philippines's fastest-growing tech companiesOpen to Philippine-based candidates onlyJob SummaryWe are looking for aSenior Full Stack / Backend-Focused Software Engineerwith strong experience inLaravel and to help design, build, and scale secure, multi-tenant applications. You will play a key role in architectural decisions, API design, data modeling, asynchronous processing, and maintaining high code quality through testing and documentation.You will collaborate closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and distributed teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and well-documented systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement secure authentication, authorization, and session management for applications with separate frontend and backend architectures.Build and maintain multi-tenant systems with strong data isolation and tenant-aware access control.Design scalable, backward-compatible APIs and maintain accurate, code-synced API documentation.Create and optimize relational data models supporting complex relationships and shared entities across tenants.Implement asynchronous processing, background jobs, scheduling, and reliable queue mechanisms.Introduce and maintain automated testing (unit, feature, and end-to-end) to ensure code quality and system reliability.Write clear technical documentation to align distributed teams and enable knowledge sharing without reliance on meetings.RequirementsStrong experience with Laravel (PHP) for backend development.Solid experience with , including Redux for state management.Experience designing authentication, authorization, and multi-tenant systems.Proficiency in RESTful API design and versioning strategies.Hands-on experience with Docker for containerized development.Experience with GitHub and Bitbucket for version control.Experience creating PEST tests for APIs.Experience writing unit tests in using Vitest.Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work independently in a fully remote, fast-paced environment.BenefitsPermanent Work-from-home / Work-anywhere in the PhilippinesWork-from-home allowanceHealth Insurance on Day 1 of employment with free three (3) dependentsGroup Term Life InsuranceCompany-provided laptop and other equipmentOther top benefitscheck(event) ; career-website-detail-template-2 => ,meta)" mousedown="lyte-button => check(event)" final- final-class="lyte-button lyteBackgroundColorBtn lyteSuccess" lyte-rendered="">
