Description As part of our global New Business Sales team, you will be a world-class Account Executive supporting TARGIT's expansion into the French market, with a dedicated focus on the automotive sector. This is a strategic market-entry role, where you will help build and shape our presence in France from the ground up. Success in this position requires a proactive, self-starting mindset and strong familiarity with the automotive ecosystem—OEMs, dealer groups, distributors, and adjacent technology partners.

You will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities while driving strong ACV growth. Working within a global organization, you will collaborate closely with international colleagues, leverage shared best practices, and communicate effectively in English—our corporate language.

The ideal candidate brings experience in business intelligence or technology sales into automotive, has excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact as we accelerate our footprint across Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate and qualify leads through research, networking, and outreach.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand prospects' business challenges and goals.
  • Lead well-informed, consultative meetings with senior executives, clearly articulating how our solutions support their strategic objectives.
  • Gain command of our corporate message and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Develop short-, medium-, and long-term sales plans that position you to exceed targets.
  • Engage in the Opportunity Planning process, leveraging a global virtual team to maximize conversion and impact.
  • Adhere to the Forterro Sales Process and adopt our sales best practices, including MEDDPICC qualification and the creation of sales artefacts.
  • Negotiate contracts that align with profitability targets while delivering maximum value to customers.
  • Maintain clean, accurate CRM records for customer interactions, pipeline management, and forecasting (HubSpot currently; Salesforce in the future).
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts to sales management.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise We are looking for a proven sales professional with experience in high-tech or SaaS environments and a strong track record of meeting quotas and building predictable pipelines. You excel in consultative, value-based selling and ideally bring knowledge of the automotive sector. Highly autonomous and proactive, you thrive in opening new markets and creating momentum in greenfield territories. Exceptional communication and presentation skills are essential, along with confidence engaging senior decision-makers. Fluency in French and business-level English are required, as well as experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce) and proficiency in standard office tools.
