Assists with patient care as delegated and supervised by a registered nurse. Responsibilities include direct patient care, unit environment, resource utilization, public relations, and customer service. This position will be a float position based on the needs of the hospital. Typical position will consist of 7p - 11p primarily responsible for ward clerk coverage, telemetry monitoring and camera monitoring on IPCU. From the hours of 11p - 7a the CNA will be floated to the ED to assume responsibilities of night shift registration, sitting needs, and CNA duties. Since this is a float position, it may be subject to changes in assignment location.

Must be on the State of Maine Certified Nursing Assistant Registry.
