Ekinops is advancing its cybersecurity and network virtualization capabilities through two strategic initiatives:

  • SASE Platform: A unified Secure Access Service Edge solution integrating advanced security features such as Secure Web Gateway (SWG), CASB, and DNS-layer protection. This project focuses on backend and security tool development, with Windows knowledge considered a plus.
  • OneOS-LIM NFV Solution: A powerful network function virtualization platform enabling flexible deployment of virtualized network services. This project demands deep expertise in Linux environments, networking, and virtualization technologies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

We are looking for a versatile and experienced Security & Network Software Engineer to contribute to both our SASE and NFV product lines. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development skills, deep networking knowledge, and hands-on experience with virtualization and security technologies.

  • Develop and maintain backend components for the SASE platform, focusing on secure, scalable service delivery.
  • Contributes to the evolution of the OneOS-LIM NFV solution, including virtualized network functions and orchestration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security and networking features across platforms.
  • Optimize performance and reliability of network services in virtualized environments.
  • Participate in architectural design, code reviews, and continuous integration efforts.

Profile and skills:

  • Solid experience in Linux-based environments
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python and C
  • Experience with network security applications
  • Deep understanding of networking: protocols, network management, and administration

  • Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies, e.g.:

  • Open vSwitch

  • QEMU, libvirt

  • Working knowledge of Go language

  • Familiarity with Windows environments is a plus
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust and SASE architecture
  • Strong debugging and performance tuning skills
