The Opportunity
We're expanding our Legal Department and looking for a Senior Legal Counsel who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative and high-performing legal team that supports a wide range of international mandates.

What your day will look like
As Senior Legal Counsel, you'll work across multiple legal domains, including:
- Contract Negotiation & Drafting: Handle a variety of agreements, including commercial contracts, lease agreements, and supplier arrangements.
- Employment Law: Advise and support the Human Resources team on employment contracts, workplace policies, and dispute resolution.
- Dispute Management: Coordinate with external counsel on litigation and other dispute matters.
- Corporate Governance & Compliance: Ensure Genetec and its subsidiaries meet legal and regulatory requirements in Canada and internationally.
- Strategic Legal Advice: Provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance across departments.

Qualifications
- Member in good standing with the French Bar
- Minimum 7 years of experience in business/commercial law and/or employment law.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English (spoken and written).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
Even better if you have these assets
- Experience with software and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with international legal frameworks and corporate governance.
- A proactive mindset and a passion for innovation.
