SummaryThe Director of Quality Operations is pivotal in overseeing the quality assurance, quality control, inspection, and supplier development activities within our organization. This role ensures that the design, development, and validation of products align with specifications and customer satisfaction prior to launch. Additionally, it oversees supplier engagement and risk management to maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily management of quality operations to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System and associated Quality KPIs to enhance overall quality performance.
  • Lead and mentor the quality team, providing direction and performance feedback.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to quality procedures and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all products and services meet customer expectations and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and oversee supplier quality management processes.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports to the leadership team.
  • Facilitate training programs to educate employees and suppliers on quality standards and procedures.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors during audits and assessments.
  • Drive quality-related projects and initiatives to support organizational goals.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in Quality Management.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role within quality and operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience applying ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean, and other quality methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret quality data and identify trends.
  • Lead auditor qualification preferred.
  • Experience with supplier quality management processes and systems.
  • Strong project management skills and experience with continuous improvement programs.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with global cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Fluent in Mandarin & English.
