Matrix One is seeking a Frontend Engineer in the Greater Paris region, to further the growth of its suite of software products. Matrix One enables medical devices companies to Design - Connect - Launch their devices for fast certification and global compliance. This is an opportunity to learn and contribute to the development of a market leader and make a big difference in people's life.

Responsibilities

  • Develop React components and user interfaces based on UI/UX designs.
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Develop backend rest end points as necessary.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Optimize applications for maximum performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
  • Write automated unit and integration tests.
  • Support testing and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
  • Participate in Code Review and other activities as required.
  • Work with team members to design innovative software programs that improve and simplify experience for customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 2 – 5 years of experience in frontend development.
  • Hands-on experience with React.
  • Proficiency in web HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript/Typescript.
  • Experience with design frameworks like Tailwind CSS, Shadcn etc is preferred.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Mocha or Jest.
  • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
  • Some backend experience is preferred, specifically in Spring Boot/Java.
  • Working knowledge on project management tools such as JIRA.
  • Competency with version control on GIT
  • Proficiency in writing technical documentation
