Job Description:

This position is dedicated to support GO divisions worldwide with digital business applications fostering process automation with structured data, end-to-end process streamlining across divisions and compliance by design.

The IT Business Application Domain Manager is responsible for the full lifecycle of the IT assets (from build to decommissioning through operations) for all GO divisions operating worldwide.

He/She reports to the CIO of AXA Group Operations.

Main missions

Your responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for end-to-end life-cycle of the products used by GO Divisions from envisioning IT application needs to decommissioning of products through build, corrective & evolutive maintenance

  • Responsible to secure strategic alignment as well as day to day relationship management with their respective Business domains

  • Responsible to define, setup and operate day to day relationship management with the GO product partners operating the standard technical solutions of GO

  • Responsible to ensure compliance to technical and management standards of GO and AXA Group

  • Responsible for IT delivery and operations

  • Responsible for sourcing and workforce management of his/her domain

Expected skills & experience

We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills:

Experience

  • Master in computer sciences or in business administration

  • 5 years of relevant experience in the function to be performed and with proven experience in management of teams.


  • Strong IT leadership and skills are required in order to drive successfully Business initiatives (Process Automation) or Tech&Data initiatives (AI, Privileged User Access, SDLC Pipeline).

  • IT is expected to be professionalized and aligned to Group if not market standards. IT Engineering & management skills are expected to improve.

Technical skills

  • Strategic vision and knowledge of its functional and technical environment, perceiving and anticipating changes

  • Good combination of conceptual intelligence and operational abilities

  • Strong project management experience in complex and agile context

  • Strong appetite for managing the end-to-end engineering lifecycle of IT applications

  • Ability to define and setup target operating models for new assets

  • Ability to define and manage multi-year budgets above 5M€

  • Ability to assess risks, particularly in the context of turnaround, and to propose new strategies and innovations

  • Ability to manage a team with multi-cultural and multi-sourcing backgrounds

  • Ability to develop skills and career evolution as a manager-coach

Soft skills / transversal skills

  • Fluent in English, French

  • Complex, strategic and multi-constrained problem solving

  • Manager-coach with dialogue and listening skills

  • Ability to analyse, step back and assess risks and opportunities

Where will you be in the organization?

Context

The IT application domain manager manages from 15 to 20 team members out of which 5 AXA GO internal emplyees; he/she is also relying on partnership with dedicated AXA Group Operations product teams, complemented by his/her own sourcing strategy with external vendors.

He/She manages the Application Data Domain for GO which is the foundation for enabling AI capacities

The IT application domain manager serves the 8 GO divisions each with their specific needs.

He/She is responsible to secure the full lifecycle of up to 130 business applications from build to decommissioning, controls and reports performance based on service level agreements aligned with business teams.

He/she manages IT financials for each a GO Division including corrective & evolutive maintenance and for IT projects.
