About the Data Solutions Team

The Data Solutions team is a multidisciplinary center of excellence dedicated to delivering enterprise-grade data products and services across Euroclear. Our mission is to enable seamless data integration, governance, and delivery for clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Activities

• Collect and maintain fund reference data, dynamic fund data, and regulatory data.
• Manage relationships with data providers, operations, and stakeholders to ensure data quality and completeness.
• Guarantee stability and reliability of data delivery flows to clients through secure channels.
• Support client services and contribute to fulfill client's requirements
• Design and support Data products answering markets needs.
• Role Overview

The Product Owner Business for Datahub is responsible for driving the evolution and success of our data management and data delivery solution for funds, aimed at being generalized in the future to all securities. This role bridges business needs and technical delivery, ensuring Datahub remains a trusted, scalable, and innovative platform for data centralization and distribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Model Evolution: Define and continuously improve the Datahub data model to meet evolving business and regulatory requirements.
• Data Collection Processes: Design and implement efficient data collection workflows in collaboration with Operations teams.
• Market watch: Conduct ongoing market watch to identify trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to data management.
• Data Delivery Technologies: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of delivery channels (APIs, SFTP, etc.) ensuring reliability and security.
• Client Onboarding: Lead the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring smooth integration and adoption of Datahub services.
• IT Coordination: Collaborate with IT teams to allocate resources effectively and ensure timely delivery of technical components.
• Prioritization & Roadmap Management: Own backlog prioritization and manage the product roadmap in close coordination with the Product Manager.
• Technology Stack Maintenance: Ensure the Python-based tech stack supporting Datahub remains robust, scalable, and up-to-date.
• Production Support & Incident Management: Provide oversight for production support, including incident resolution and root cause analysis.
• Data Centralization: Contribute to initiatives aimed at consolidating enterprise data within Datahub.
• Data Governance Ownership: Define and enforce governance standards, ensuring data quality, compliance, and stewardship across the platform.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Data Management Expertise: Strong knowledge of data lineage, lifecycle management, and maintenance of a business dictionary.
• Dual Competency:
• Business: Deep understanding of financial data and operational processes.
• Technical: Ability to design and deliver data products, leveraging APIs, secure file transfer protocols, and modern data technologies.
• Familiarity with Python and data engineering practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data management, product ownership, or related roles within financial services.
• Strong knowledge of funds and fund-related data from a business perspective (e.g., reference data, pricing, regulatory attributes).
• Proven track record in managing data-centric products and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements impacting fund data management is a plus.
