Certo's goal is simple and insanely ambitious:

Make shipping a new physical product as fast and reliable as shipping code.

Think CI/CD for regulated products.

Today, if you want to launch a cosmetic, a medical device, or a new food product, you're stuck in a maze of regulations, quality standards, PDFs, spreadsheets, and months of back-and-forth with authorities and internal teams.

We want to get that friction out of the way of business.

Turn regulations into code.

Turn audits into a click.

Turn "Can we sell this product here, with this label and these suppliers?" into a question you can ask an AI system and get a documented, defensible answer.

If we do this right, we free up a massive amount of innovation: small brands can launch globally, big groups can move 10x faster, and regulators still get more transparency and better evidence than they do today, while consumers are better protected because unsafe products never make it to market.

We're still very early. Tiny team, real customers, huge problem space.

This is not "an AI feature". We want Certo to become the compliance fabric and trust standard for physical products, something that can realistically be one of the most impactful companies of this century in how products are created, regulated, and made transparent in terms of quality.

You might be a good fit if you:

Have early-stage B2B experience (ex-founder / first engineer / small team) and like owning things end-to-end.

Have built products around sensitive or regulated workflows (compliance, fintech, legal, health, security, risk) where audit trails and "why did the system say this?" really matter.

Are strong in TypeScript/Python and enjoy building systems: multi-tenant SaaS, queues/jobs, clean APIs, solid data models, some frontend.

Enjoy AI-native coding – treating prompts, tools, agents and evaluation as part of the codebase, and making AI systems reliable, testable and debuggable.

Have shipped LLM / agentic features in production (multi-step workflows, tool calls, retrieval, evaluation, deep agents).

Want to help build the CI/CD pipeline for physical products and replace slow, manual, dinosaur processes with something modern and sane.
