3d.FAB is the only French "Plateforme Technologique Innovante" dedicated to academic and private healthcare innovation through 3D printing. We have two main areas of expertise:

  • For biochemistry, especially diagnosis with prototyping 3D lab-on-chip, novel materials for 3D medical devices, biocompatible polymers and cell-size 3D printing.

  • For regenerative medicine through dedicated living cells and tissues bioprinters.

Activities:

Additive manufacturing of 3d objects including silicone-based implantable medical devices through LDM (Liquid Deposition Modeling) or Dynamic Molding.

The candidate will aim:

  • to perform an experimental program able to define adequate printing parameters depending on 3D printing process,

  • to characterize rheological and mechanical properties of materials and printed objects,

  • to define Process-Properties and Structural-Properties relationships,

  • to make technical transfers in accordance with quality management.

The candidate will work in an excellence academic research environment and the necessary industrial partners.

Expected candidate profile: MSc with a strong knowledge in materials science will be the best including material design and rheological/mechanical characterization. Experience in 3D printing and quality management will be an asset.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Up to 13.00€ per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
