In order to accompany the growth of Biocodex, we are looking for a
Senior Controller – Business Operations
, you will be responsible for
financial business partnering and performance oversight across several regions
, encompassing both Biocodex affiliates and external business partners. You will serve as a
key finance interface for regional leadership
, ensuring strong financial governance, high-quality performance analysis, and effective support within a complex, multi-country environment.

The position reports to the
Head of Finance Business Operations
and acts as the
primary financial partner to the Head of Regions and Regional Area Managers
. The successful candidate will provide analytical support to decision-making, ensure a data-driven approach to performance discussions, and contribute to value creation across an international, multi-country environment.

Key Responsibilities
Regional Financial Business Partnering

• Act as the finance business partner for multiple regions, providing Heads of Regions and Regional Area Managers with relevant, timely, and actionable financial insights.
• Deliver strategic and operational financial guidance to affiliates and business partners, ensuring alignment with Group financial objectives and performance expectations.
• Develop strong, collaborative relationships with local finance and non-finance stakeholders across countries.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial reporting across all financial cycles (Actuals, Forecasts, Budget, Strategic Plan), in line with Group standards and internal deadlines.
• Analyze regional and partner performance, identify variances versus plan, and translate financial data into clear business insights.
• Constructively challenge assumptions and forecasts with a forward-looking and value-driven mindset.

Performance Monitoring & KPIs

• Define, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the financial and operational performance of regions and partners.
• Produce regular performance reporting, highlighting trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Support structured performance reviews with regional management teams and business partners.

Demand Planning & Inventory Optimization

• Collaborate closely with sales, supply chain, and operations teams to understand demand drivers across regions.
• Contribute to demand forecasting and inventory optimization initiatives.
• Support efficient stock management to balance service levels, cost efficiency, and working capital.

Continuous Improvement & Governance

• Identify and drive opportunities to enhance financial processes, reporting quality, and FP&A efficiency across regions.
• Promote the harmonization of financial practices between affiliates and business partners while respecting local specificities.
• Contribute to strengthening financial governance, internal controls, and compliance within the partner network.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure financial strategies are fully aligned with business objectives.
• Provide financial input and analysis to support strategic initiatives, new market development, and partner evaluations.

Profile
Education & Qualifications
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Professional Experience
Significant experience (8-10 years) in finance roles with increasing responsibility, ideally within an international, multi-entity environment.

Proven experience in
FP&A, business controlling, or finance business partnering
, preferably with exposure to regional or multi-country scopes.

Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and variance analysis.

Hands-on experience with
financial systems and consolidation tools
(e.g. OneStream, SAP, or equivalent) and advanced proficiency in Excel; strong reporting and data visualization skills are a plus.
