About the Company

Topograph was created in September 2024 by three founders with experience in technology, fast-growing organizations, and regulated sectors (banking, tax, legal). We have secured a Seed funding round with top-notch investors from the UK and France (to be announced) and have hired our first two employees, both great software engineers. We are based in Paris; our product and our clients are international. We want to do great work at high standards. This includes ambitiously addressing challenging topics, being respectful, and having a great time together.

About the Role

We are hiring for a Data Partnerships Intern (F/M/X). You will report to Emmanuel (Founder & COO) and work daily with everyone at Topograph.

Responsibilities

  • You will help Topograph establish partnerships for access to public information about companies in Europe and beyond:
  • Research the regulatory environment for access to company data in our countries of interest (official sources, who can access them, and how).
  • When registers are not open to the public:
  • Identify the access procedures.
  • Prepare Topograph's application.
  • Navigate the administrative steps.
  • Track progress and resolve blockers; be persistent and resourceful in dealing with local administrations.
  • When individual local partners are needed to access information:
  • Identify relevant targets.
  • Reach out (by email or phone).
  • Conduct initial discussions with potential partners.
  • Manage the partnerships pipeline and follow-up process.

  • Work with Emmanuel (COO) on legal/admin matters and lawyer support; Pierre-Henri (CEO) on closing individual partnerships; and Hugo (CTO) on technical aspects.

  • As an adjacent mission, you will help the team build knowledge of country-specific factors regarding access to company information. You will highlight nuances in data availability, legal forms, or company structures. You'll help the tech team interpret and implement country-specific rules where relevant.

  • This internship combines project management, business development, and product support work– all in the context of a startup.

Qualifications

  • We favour end-of-studies interns ("fin de cursus") and a 6-month internship.
  • English proficiency. The French language is a clear bonus but not a dealbreaker. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Legal education is a plus — a basic understanding of corporate law and access to public-sector information is very valuable.

  • Good communication skills and comfort with outreach (phone calls, emails, and meetings).
  • Persistence and resourcefulness when dealing with administrative processes.
  • Curiosity and precision when researching regulatory topics.
  • Willingness to learn and use technology in your work.
  • An interest in understanding both business and technical aspects of the product.

Preferred Skills

  • We are open to diverse profiles and will provide the necessary support accordingly.

Pay range and compensation package

  • Monthly stipend: €1,700.
  • French internship agreement (convention de stage) with the possibility to convert to a permanent position.
  • €11 daily lunch ticket, coverage of public transportation pass and bike costs.
  • We have good coffee.
