This role offers a chance to contribute to international industrial projects across energy, marine and process sectors.

The Role

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Drives / Converter Engineer to support the modernisation and delivery of low-voltage drive systems for industrial applications. These solutions include variable speed drives, motors, and power distribution. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of drive systems, from design to commissioning, ensuring robust and efficient performance for clients across France and internationally.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop in-depth technical knowledge of electrical converters, both hardware and software.
  • Analyse project requirements (contracts, specifications, standards) to select appropriate equipment and define the technical solution.
  • Design and modify low-voltage drive systems, configure key components and contribute to system integration.
  • Produce technical documentation such as specifications, electrical schematics, installation dossiers, and supplier documents.
  • Oversee and technically manage external suppliers and subcontractors during equipment procurement and integration.
  • Conduct factory acceptance tests and commissioning activities on client sites.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams during bidding phases to define optimal technical solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement of standard drive solutions in cooperation with suppliers and internal teams.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Engineering degree or technical diploma in electrical engineering with practical experience in power electronics and rotating machines.
  • Strong foundation in electrotechnics and a passion for technical design and innovation.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools and a structured approach to documentation.
  • Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary and international environment with readiness for occasional travel (France and abroad).
  • Fluency in English & French is essential.
