TCS France has delivered double-digit growth for over 5 years supporting customers in digital transformation, Data and cloud journeys.
Context:
We are looking for a Solution Sales Director – Digital Thread (PLM) to drive business development and revenue growth for TCS's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Digital Thread services across Europe, with a strong focus on France and key EU markets. You will expand existing accounts, acquire new clients and work closely with our strategic PLM partners to deliver value-driven digital transformation for engineering and manufacturing customers.
Who you are:
- Experienced sales / business development leader with 10+ years in selling PLM / ALM / Digital Thread services and solutions.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets in complex, consultative sales environments.
- Ability to engage and build trusted relationships with CXOs, senior engineering and IT stakeholders in large enterprises.
- Strong understanding of the EU market, especially engineering and manufacturing customers, with an existing customer network being a strong plus.
- Comfortable working in an onsite–offshore model and in a multicultural, international environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of any additional EU language will be an advantage.
- Self‑driven, proactive and able to operate with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
What you will do:
- Own business development and revenue growth for TCS Digital Thread and PLM services across assigned accounts and new logo prospects.
- Grow existing accounts by identifying white spaces, defining account growth plans and positioning new PLM / Digital Thread initiatives.
- Acquire new customers in the Digital Thread / PLM space through targeted prospecting, marketing campaigns, workshops and executive meetings.
- Collaborate with PLM product partners to define and execute joint go‑to‑market plans.
- Work closely with TCS presales, solution, delivery and account teams to shape opportunities, respond to RFPs and lead bid defense presentations.
- Understand customer business challenges in engineering and manufacturing and translate them into compelling PLM and Digital Thread solutions.
- Plan and run customer workshops, demonstrations and presentations to showcase TCS value propositions and industry solutions.
- Support PLM roadmap and business planning for key customers, including solution vision, milestones and budgetary estimates.
- Drive and coordinate solution demos, proof‑of‑concepts and reference visits to demonstrate business value.
- Provide regular pipeline, forecast, opportunity and activity reporting to senior leadership; act on guidance and jointly refine growth plans.
- Represent TCS at partner events, industry forums and conferences to stay current on market trends and bring back insights to customers and internal teams.
Technical skills:
- Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts, processes and value drivers in engineering and manufacturing industries.
- Good knowledge of Digital Thread solutions and how they integrate with design, engineering, manufacturing, service and enterprise systems.
- Working knowledge of leading PLM platforms and their partner ecosystems.
- Ability to discuss architectures and solution approaches with technical stakeholders and translate them into business value for executives.
- Familiarity with different commercial and engagement models for PLM / Digital Thread services, including licensing, subscription and managed services.
- Experience using sales tools, CRM systems, pipeline management and documentation tools for opportunity and account management.
- Comfort operating with global delivery models and coordinating with offshore solution and delivery teams.
