IT Project Manager – Contract
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee the implementation of complex IT projects within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality. The role involves managing projects in line with established PMO standards and ensuring that delivery aligns with defined objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the implementation of IT projects to meet identified business needs.
- Deliver complex IT projects in accordance with PMO standards.
- Ensure project objectives are clearly understood and achievable.
- Define and manage scope, schedule, budget and project plans.
- Maintain high-quality communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify, track, and escalate project risks and issues.
- Report project status to relevant management and stakeholders.
- Assure the effectiveness of project management processes.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams in applying project management standards and methods.
Requirements:
- IT professional experience.
- Experience with project management methodologies such as PRINCE2.
- Experience as a Project Manager or PMO within a structured environment.
- PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, or equivalent certification.
- Experience with service management/delivery.
- Understanding of IT governance practices.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Project, MS Excel, and MS Vision.
- Experience in IT performance management and metrics.
