Tax Manager/Specialist
to join our finance team. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all tax regulations while developing tax strategies that support the company's objectives and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently handle corporate tax filings, including Value-Added Tax (VAT) and Corporate Income Tax (CIT).
- Identify potential tax and business risks, and develop effective solutions to mitigate them.
- Oversee all aspects of the company's tax compliance, including corporate income tax, VAT, and other applicable taxes.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of tax returns and payments.
- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory support to minimize tax liabilities and optimize business decisions.
- Manage relationships with external tax advisors and liaise with tax authorities as needed.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and assess their potential impact on the business.
- Support tax audits, ensuring proper documentation and effective risk management.
- Collaborate closely with the accounting team during month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and maintain tax reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in
Accounting, Finance, or a related field
; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus. - Minimum of 5 years
of experience in tax management, preferably within a multinational environment or a Big Four firm. - Strong knowledge of
local and international tax regulations
. - Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in
ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
and
Microsoft Office Suite
. - Fluent in
French and English
(knowledge of
Chinese
is a plus). - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and cultures.
