Tax Manager/Specialist
to join our finance team. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all tax regulations while developing tax strategies that support the company's objectives and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently handle corporate tax filings, including Value-Added Tax (VAT) and Corporate Income Tax (CIT).
  • Identify potential tax and business risks, and develop effective solutions to mitigate them.
  • Oversee all aspects of the company's tax compliance, including corporate income tax, VAT, and other applicable taxes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of tax returns and payments.
  • Provide strategic tax planning and advisory support to minimize tax liabilities and optimize business decisions.
  • Manage relationships with external tax advisors and liaise with tax authorities as needed.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and assess their potential impact on the business.
  • Support tax audits, ensuring proper documentation and effective risk management.
  • Collaborate closely with the accounting team during month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare and maintain tax reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Accounting, Finance, or a related field
    ; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years
    of experience in tax management, preferably within a multinational environment or a Big Four firm.
  • Strong knowledge of
    local and international tax regulations
    .
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in
    ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
    and
    Microsoft Office Suite
    .
  • Fluent in
    French and English
    (knowledge of
    Chinese
    is a plus).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and cultures.
