Created in 2014 in Paris, CGN EE is an independent power producer and subsidiary of the Chinese State company CGN Group, specialized in low carbon energy (nuclear energy and renewable energy). With over 2.4 GW capacity (Wind and Solar), CGN EE quickly became the renewable energy company with the most rapid growth in Europe and is continuously seeking to expand its team. Our goal in the long term is to become a leading player in the renewable energy sector in Europe and Africa. In this prospect, we are seeking an audit and compliance trainee for our legal team.

Role Title:
Audit and Compliance intern

Type of contract
: Internship contract (6 months, from Jan 2026)

You will be tasked to:

  • Assisting the legal department with the legal monitoring of companies (e.g. managing procedures for external changes of directors, supervisors and senior managers, changes of articles of association, updating company registers, change of director, change of address, etc.)
  • Assisting the auditor to prepare document for project.
  • Communication with parent company and other departments. Contribute to translation work.
  • Assist the legal department to make payments (SAP/ UPM/etc.)
  • Assisting the legal department in organizing and monitoring the meetings of the various companies. Participate to the Weekly Monthly meetings and deliver memos to the Legal and Compliance department.
  • Contribute to the weekly reporting and to the update of various legal risk assessments.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in law or business (M2)
  • Possess very good Chinese and English level. French is a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Organizational skills and detail oriented
  • The willingness to deliver high qualitative work in a timely manner
  • Ability to deal with high responsibilities
  • Eagerness to be involved in international and high scale projects
  • Comfortable with multicultural companies'environment
  • Office 365 with a good command of Word, Excel and PPT
  • Sound knowledge of Contract and Corporate Law.
  • General insights on the renewable energy sector and its legal framework are an advantage.
