YOUR ROLE

The Data Foundations Lead plays a key role in the group's Data Transformation journey. He/she will be responsible for the structuration & deployment of the Data Foundations Framework for a list of defined Data domains based on validated Strategic Priorities.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Methodology & Standards Deployment

Implement and maintain group-wide data foundations methodology, from use case collection (data requirement definition: freshness, granularity…), data availability checks, integration pattern (data platforms, APIs…)

Promote adoption of common standards with Group Data & Architecture

Ensure alignment of practices across business domains (Vessel, Voyage, Network, Revenue, Cost, Market Share, etc.).

Change Management & Adoption

Support business teams in identifying Data Product Owner and applying the methodology to their data use cases.

Act as a champion of data culture, enabling teams to understand the value of data and use it effectively.

Organize training, workshops, and communication to increase maturity.

Project & Program Management

Ensure and lead the proper roll out the Data Foundations roadmap (people, processes, tools)

Monitor progress of data initiatives and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.

Track and report on data readiness dashboards (availability, integration patterns).

Identify gaps and escalate risks to leadership.

Stakeholder Management

Work closely with Data Domain Leads to ensure consistency and delivery of business-relevant data products.

Partner with Group Data & Architecture, IT/Data Engineering to align business requirements with technical capabilities.

Collaborate with business Product Owners to refine data requirements (granularity, freshness, integration patterns).

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Computer Science, or a related field

Proven experience in project management (PMO, agile methods, or transformation programs) with ability to translate business needs into data requirements (without being a technical delivery role).

Deep expertise of data governance, data management, data visualization, big data technologies, analytics and AI technologies.

Excellent change management skills, able to drive adoption across non-technical stakeholders.

Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities

Experience with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Snowflake)

Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
