Cybersecurity Specialist (France)

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive
Cybersecurity Specialist
to protect our IT systems, networks, and data. You will work closely with IT, DevOps, and compliance teams to implement security policies, monitor threats, and ensure overall system security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats and incidents
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
  • Implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to secure systems and applications
  • Maintain security tools and systems (firewalls, antivirus, SIEM, IDS/IPS)
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on cybersecurity awareness
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and other regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security
  • Knowledge of network security, endpoint security, and cloud security
  • Experience with security monitoring tools and incident response
  • Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Professional working proficiency in
    English
  • French language skills are a plus

Nice to Have

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or CompTIA Security+
  • Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Knowledge of application security and DevSecOps practices
  • Experience in multinational or regulated environments
