Are you a seasoned Operations Support Engineer ready to tackle high-severity incidents in complex, interconnected environments?

We are looking for a Senior Operations Support Engineer to join a key team in Strasbourg, working closely with a major client's IT department.

This is a long-term B2B contract where you will be at the heart of ensuring stability, performance, and proactive oversight of critical production systems.

If you have over 7 years of enterprise IT operations experience, deep expertise in cloud-native and containerized environments, and a passion for solving complex technical challenges, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and resolve high-severity, cross-system incidents with precision and clear stakeholder communication.
  • Lead technical investigations, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reviews to implement lasting solutions.
  • Define and enhance monitoring, observability, and performance-baseline strategies.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance, environment optimization, and compliance with security baselines.
  • Validate deployment plans, rollback procedures, and testing strategies with DevSecOps and DBA teams.

What We're Looking For:

  • University degree in IT or related field + minimum 7 years of relevant IT experience.
  • At least 3 years in a senior operational role managing complex incidents and problem investigations.
  • Excellent hands-on experience with:
  • Containerized/cloud-native production environments (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift).
  • ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Event, Capacity).
  • Linux/Unix systems, CI/CD integration (GitHub, SonarQube).
  • Scripting and automation for operational tasks.
  • IAC tools (Terraform, Bicep, Ansible).
  • Middleware and integration technologies (API gateways, messaging, event streaming, IAM).
  • Observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch).
  • Strong understanding of automation frameworks, version control, and artefact management.
  • Proven ability to lead technical bridges, communicate clearly, and document effectively.
  • Excellent command of English
    (both written and spoken).

Bonus Skills:

  • Proficiency in French is a strong plus.
