As a PCB Physical Designer, you will be embedded in a global Mobile Network Research and Development organization, contributing to cutting-edge technology. We are seeking highly motivated professionals with a solid understanding of electronic engineering to join our team.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Fully own designs from initial specifications through completion.
- Generate the complete documentation for manufacturability, including gerber files (ODB++ format), fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and all supporting documentation.
- Work closely with other functional groups (including product engineering, Radio Frequence laboratory, Digital design and industrial) to define and execute design methodology.
- Implement of design standards, including DFM and DFX, to satisfy the manufacturing requirements.
- Provide library support, with a full understanding of parts creation, pad stacks, required spacing and clearances.
- Participate in design reviews
Key Skills And Experience
- A minimum of 5 years PCB design experience with a comprehensive knowledge of design requirements as it relates to electrical, mechanical and manufacturing requirements.
- Good experiences with Mentor Expedition tools (Concurrent mode and Layout Team Server/Client, Hyperlink).
- Experience in Signal Integrity Simulation and Thermal Simulation could be considered a plus.
- The ability to manually route complex multi layer printed circuit boards with radio frequency and digital circuitry (Familiarity with microcontrollers, fine pitch BGAs).
- Familiarity with High Speed Frequency layout.
- Experience with PCB stack up as it relates to impedance, cross coupling, and capacitance
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures and design requirements for board fabrication and board assembly procedures.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Good teamplayer.
- Open to learn.
