Company Description

Initiativ is an investment firm currently in the process of obtaining ACPR approval, operating a multilateral trading facility dedicated to carbon allowances (EUA and UKA). The company combines regulatory requirements, on-chain innovation, and a product-driven approach to facilitate trading for industrial companies and professional market participants.

Role Description

In this context, and as prospect engagement is scaling, Initiativ is looking for a Sales Intern (hybrid/on-site) to contribute to the commercial strategy, expand the base of professional clients and support the operational execution of prospecting and onboarding activities.

Main Responsibilities

1- Participation in the sales cycle

  • Support senior sales with their engagement activity
  • Support production of sales materials: pitch decks, product sheets
  • Own the engagement pipeline and CRM activity

2- Sales prospecting and qualification

  • Identify, map, and prioritize professional prospects
  • Contribute to the go to market strategy
  • Develop over time your own sales pipeline

3- Onboarding and internal coordination

  • Participate in collecting KYC/KYB documentation and coordinate with the Risk & Compliance team
  • Support the registration journey
  • Relay client needs and feedback to inform the product roadmap

4- Market analysis and monitoring

  • Track developments in carbon markets and regulation
  • Produce concise briefing notes to support the commercial strategy
  • Liaise with the communication team

Required Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage with demanding professional stakeholders.
  • Strong rigor, clear communication, and excellent summarization abilities.
  • Strong interest in financial markets, trading and carbon.
  • Professional proficiency and fluent in English. Another language is a plus.
  • Familiarity with a CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce) is a plus.

Profile

  • Student in a top business school, engineering school, or university (gap year or final-year internship).
  • Interest in early-stage environments that are structured and demanding.
  • Analytical mindset and autonomy in an entrepreneurial context.
