Lead OPS Automation Engineer
with strong expertise in
PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Ansible and Python
.

Mission Overview

You will join the ITO/PaaS team responsible for designing, operating, and automating enterprise-grade database architectures. The objective is to industrialise operations, improve reliability, and drive automation across PostgreSQL, Cassandra and Oracle-based environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide
    L3 support
    on PostgreSQL and Cassandra
  • Lead the
    automation of production workflows
    (provisioning, patching, monitoring, remediation)
  • Develop and maintain tools in
    Python & Ansible
    (Git/Bitbucket, CI/CD, REST APIs)
  • Contribute to the stability and evolution of Oracle, PostgreSQL & Cassandra platforms
  • Provide
    L1 support
    on Oracle Databases & Goldengate replication
  • Participate in platform support for WWW environments
  • Collaborate in an
    international, English-speaking
    engineering environment

Technical Environment

  • Databases:
    PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Oracle, Goldengate
  • Automation:
    Ansible, Python, REST APIs, Git/Bitbucket
  • Platforms:
    Linux, distributed systems, PaaS environments
  • Methods:
    Industrialisation, automation-first mindset, production constraints

Profile Required

  • 10+ years in Database Engineering, OPS or SRE roles
  • Proven expertise in
    PostgreSQL & Cassandra administration
  • Strong skills in
    Python
    , infrastructure automation, and configuration management (Ansible)
  • Ability to design and deploy large-scale automation solutions
  • Comfortable in complex, distributed, high-availability environments
  • Professional working proficiency in English
