About the Job:

We are looking for a
Development Project Engineer (w/m/d)
to join our team in the Paris region to ensure the development of MINTH's product portfolio for our automotive manufacturer customers (OEM). You will be the technical interface with French customers (OEM) in order to successfully prospect and technically & commercially develop MINTH products, while respecting MINTH's interests and objectives.

In this role, you are expected to be responsible for:

  • Leading design and development activities for battery housings, crash management systems and other structural parts projects from concept phase to SOP
  • You are the main communication channel between customers in France and internal stakeholders in MINTH worldwide.
  • Participate in the standardization and implementation of our product strategy: define design standards, deploy best practices, improve competitiveness, define and apply product strategy.
  • Participate in innovation and organize exhibitions of technical solutions in connection with customers (OEM).
  • Participate in prospecting, analysis and identification of customer needs, technological and competitive watch.
  • Participate in the resolution of unforeseen and/or complex product problems.

Following qualifications and abilities are expected for this role:

  • A Bac+5 or more (engineering school: automotive, mechanics/materials, industrial engineering and technological sciences or similar).
  • At least 3 years of experience in the development of automotive products, including at least 1 year in a similar position with a Tier 1 equipment supplier (Tier 1) or a manufacturer (OEM).
  • Good technical knowledge, and you master the communication and management of cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment.
  • Good general knowledge of the automotive sector: automotive market, manufacturers & equipment manufacturers, products and processes, project, quality, supply chain, etc.
  • Experience on BiW (Body-in-White) and/or chassis parts. You are conscious of processes and technologies for the production and transformation of different materials (aluminum, steel, plastic, etc.).
  • Fluent in French and English, a third language (Chinese, Spanish, Italian, German) will be a plus.
  • Mastering office automation tools (MSProject, Excel, Office package etc.).
  • Good communicator; you are comfortable with various interlocutors in an international environment. You are recognized for your ability to anticipate, as well as your rigor and team spirit.
