Me3D is a deep-tech startup building next-generation virtual try-on technology for fashion e-commerce. Our platform reconstructs accurate 3D body models from a single photo and simulates garment fit using physics-based cloth modeling — enabling shoppers to see how real garments drape, wrinkle, and fit on their bodies before they buy.
We go beyond traditional try-on "filters" by combining AI, computer vision, and physically-based simulation to deliver true-to-fit garment visualization. Our mission is to make online fashion more personal, sustainable, and data-driven by reducing returns, increasing customer confidence, and bridging the gap between digital and physical retail.

Role Description
We are seeking a Founding Engineer (Computer Vision) to join our early technical team. You will work directly with the CTO and co-founders to design, build, and scale the core algorithms and systems behind ME3D. This is a hands-on role with significant ownership. You will prototype and build production-grade systems using a combination of Pattern Recognition, Deep Learning, 3D Reconstruction, Image Processing, and Simulation. As one of the early hires, you will help define our technical roadmap, engineering culture, and long-term product direction.
Responsibilities
- Develop algorithms and refine pipeline for single-image 3D body reconstruction
- Build garmet digitization workflows (2D → 3D mesh)
- Integrate cloth simulation engines (physics-based and/or differentiable) for realistic garment draping
- Work on diffusion models for multi-view reconstruction and garment rendering
- Collaborate on CV/ML model training, evaluation, and deployment
- Optimize model performance for real-time / web / mobile environments
- Contribute to overall system design, architecture, and scaling decisions
- Work closely with CTO on technical decisions and contribute to long-term product direction
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Robotics, or related field
- Strong knowledge of Computer Vision + Deep Learning (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
- Solid software engineering fundamentals (version control, testing, APIs)
- Experience with 3D recontruction and mesh/geometry processing
- Generative models (Diffusion, NeRFs, transformers)
- Knowledge of Cloth/soft-body simulation (FEM, PBD, differentiable) is a plus
- Solid programming skills in Python/C++
- Strong math literacy (linear algebra, geometry, optimization)
- Ability to rapidly protoype and iterate
- Strong communication and collaborative mindset
