Purpose
In our Digital, Integration and Verification design team, as Digital and Verification designer you will take part in product feasibility studies and development for Smartcard secure element chips embedding an MCU, a co-processor, memories (NVM and RAMs) and analog/RF blocks. As digital designer, you will work in closed contacts with the analog/RF team, the implementation team and the application team prior to the tapeout of the product, and then with the product/test engineering team after fabout

You will contribute to the verification methodology and the test environment.

Key Missions
As part of the Digital, Integration and Verification design team, you will be responsible for:

  • Integrating/verifying digital blocks
  • Working into the whole verification field, handing the verification methodology, developing the simulation environment, defining and implementing test cases
  • Taking part in product feasibility studies and product architecture
  • Understanding standards and system level constraints (Performances, Power consumption, Security)
  • Defining DFT solutions
  • Supporting product validation and debug activities in collaboration with the Software, Quality and Test Engineering teams
  • Contributing to the Technology and Design Methodology improvements.
  • Within a quality process with all teams: reviewing the Verification, the Validation, the Characterization and the Qualification results.

Profile Description

  • Master's Degree in electronic engineering or equivalent degree with specific knowledge of microelectronic devices and related digital circuit design
  • At least 5 years of experience in the development of complex digital blocks or SoC embedding a microcontroller
  • Knowledge of hardware description language (Verilog, System Verilog, VHDL)
  • Knowledge of the Digital design basic tools : RTL simulation, Logical synthesis, Static Timing Analysis, Equivalence Checking (Synopsys and CADENCE tools)
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as TCL and Python
  • Knowledge of basic communication standards such as ISO7816, ISO14443 will be a plus
  • Knowledge in Cryptography (AES, TDES, PKI, RNG…) will be a plus
  • Fluent in English
