The Role

We are looking for a curious, high-ownership
Backend Engineer

to join our core team. You will be responsible for designing and scaling our data engine using
Rust

. This role isn't about building simple CRUD APIs; you will be solving non-trivial problems involving data structure, algorithmic complexity, and high-performance database interactions.

What You'll Do

  • Architect with Rust:

Develop robust, memory-safe, and highly concurrent services.
- Optimize Data Performance:

Write and refine complex database queries where efficiency is critical to the user experience.
- Solve Algorithmic Challenges:

Apply your knowledge of Big O notation and complexity to optimize data processing pipelines.
- Collaborate in Agile:

Work within a structured yet fast-paced environment that prioritizes clean code, thorough testing, and rapid iteration.

Who You Are

  • Rust Proficient:

You have professional experience (or a deep portfolio) in Rust and a strong grasp of the borrow checker and memory management.
- Database Native:

You are comfortable with PostgreSQL and advanced SQL. You understand indexing strategies and how to avoid performance bottlenecks.
- CS Fundamentals:

You have a passion for algorithmic performance and know how to weigh different data structures for specific use cases.
- Self-Starter:

You are naturally inquisitive, highly organized, and thrive in an environment where technical excellence is the baseline.
