About the mission we offer you:
Controlling the risks posed by industrial facilities is a prerequisite for the construction or operation of units.
The purpose of risk analysis is to ensure this by:
- understanding how the units operate,
- identifying hazards related to products, the environment, and equipment,
- analyzing feedback,
- identifying accidental sequences that could lead to accident scenarios,
- characterizing the criticality of risks by estimating their frequency of occurrence and modeling their consequences.
The internship consists of learning about these different stages through ongoing studies (hazard studies, information disclosure files, etc.) with our clients in the energy sector.
You will be supervised by the Risk Analysis team in the Expertise and Modeling department, within the Processes and Technologies division of Technip Energies France.
During this internship, you will therefore assist the project engineers in capitalizing on knowledge, comparing analysis and calculation methods, and developing tools for presenting and summarizing results.
During this internship, you will be accompanied by a mentor who will answer any questions you may have.
Starting Date: First half of 2026
Duration : 6 months

What we expect from you:
- Currently enrolled in a five-year engineering program in process engineering/industrial processes/chemical engineering, ideally with a specialization in process safety or industrial risk management
- Rigorous, organized, independent, and curious, with a desire to learn more about major risk management in the industrial world
- Good writing and presentation skills in French.
- Working knowledge of English (spoken and written).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
