We operate most of the time in squads, pairing a Head of Sales with a Sales Operations expert and sellers to audit, prioritize, and execute the best strategies for our clients' success.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Fractional Head of Sales to join our team. This role is ideal for a proven sales leader who excels at both designing and executing sales strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong consulting mindset, capable of diagnosing clients' needs and implementing tailored solutions. They should have a track record of successfully managing and scaling high-performing sales teams while driving strategic business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business strategy missions for helyo's clients
    : Oversee and ensure the seamless execution of strategic missions, including onboarding, audits, and project delivery. As a consultant, you will provide highly relevant and actionable recommendations, demonstrate exceptional presentation skills (both written and oral), and be willing to support operations when necessary. Since missions may be executed in squads (e.g., with sales ops and sellers), you should have a strong ability to lead, inspire, and manage the team to consistently deliver outstanding results.
  • Lead fractional Head of Sales mission for helyo's client
    : As a part-time Head of Sales, you work flexibly with startups or scale-ups to structure, lead, and scale their commercial strategy. Your role combines strategic vision and hands-on execution: defining the go-to-market approach, setting up sales processes, managing or coaching teams, selecting tools, and tracking performance — all with a fast and tangible impact.
  • Drive new business opportunities for helyo
    : Identify and generate new commercial strategy missions, leading pitch, negotiation, and closing activities with potential clients.
  • Manage and develop helyo's team
    : Lead and motivate a team of consultant-sellers, ensuring their growth and skill development while maintaining the quality of their work with clients.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience managing and scaling sales teams
  • Strong consulting skills, with the ability to diagnose client challenges and express them
  • Strong data and result-driven mindset, expert in excel and able to forecast effectively
  • Experience in implementing and monitoring sales process changes is required
  • Deep understanding of key sales growth levers and high-performing commercial engines
  • Extensive network in biggest French and European firms to accelerate our clients success
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and develop sales talent.
