What you will do
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of data pipelines for data management, visualization, and analytics products.
- Support the design of platform infrastructure, network, and security, and collaborate with senior engineers to ensure security, compliance, and cost efficiency in cloud environments.
- Support the automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform.
- Help ensure our data platform operates efficiently and remains online.
- Collaborate with senior team members to develop and deploy automated services and APIs.
- Gain experience with Unix/Linux and network fundamentals.
- Support deployment processes with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions.
- Work with Azure and its data platform and analytics components.
- Develop skills in automation and open-source tools.
What you'll bring
- Understanding of IT operations and process re-engineering.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in CloudOps, DevOps, or IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, cloud fundamentals and Azure DevOps (other cloud platforms is a plus).
- Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-305, or DP-203) are recommended and will be considered a plus.
- Interest in learning about data analytics and cloud operations.
- Experience working in azure data platform projects
- Experience or coursework in scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
