Purpose
This role installs and maintains operating systems, applications, servers, virtualization, network devices and backup systems to ensure stable performance.
Key Missions- Responds to the day-to-day business needs according with priorities
- Troubleshoots problem source through discussions with users and coordinates with internal organization support and operations groups and with vendors to resolve problems
- Stays up-to-date on information technology and aligns it with IDEMIA and Divisions' technology strategy
- Acquires, installs and upgrades IT components, licensing and software, and manages inventory
- Ensures to follow governance model and processes (change management, root cause analysis, documentation, etc.)
- Creates and maintains documentation related to their activities
- Ensures and supports Division standards about safety and security as well as industry and legal regulations
- Plans service availibity according to business requirements (this may include defining redundancy, backup implementation, having on-call duty)
- Executes simple day to day administration and networking tasks, may support on complex tasks
- Performs patching and ensures the documentation is up to date
- Works with the guidance of a more experience team member
