For more than 25 years, our Center of Excellence based in Illkirch ( Strasbourg area ) has been a fundamental piece of the Ortho experience. We provide support to all of our customers in Europe, The Middle East and Africa. In order to support our purpose and be part of a new transformation, we are looking for a new Technical Solutions Specialist to join our team. More than ever, Technical Support represents an increasing part of the offer made to the customer. As a member of the Technical Support Team you will have an impact on our customers providing remote support in the technical & diagnostic area, for our full range of Point of Care/Molecular, Transfusion Medicine, Clinical Laboratories medical laboratory products and automation. You will provide assistance and communicate with our customers via email and telephone.

What you'll be doing:

  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and manages customer chemistry, equipment and software complaints and inquiries in accordance with internal procedures and customers' requirements.
  • Participation to on-calls.
  • Maintain technical self-competence, knowledge of company procedures, and customer-related skills. Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Contribute to process improvements.
  • Attend meetings with affiliates, on-site or via call.

​What you'll need to succeed:

  • Educated as medical laboratory technologist, biomedical or technical background or in life sciences, possibly with some experience in customer relationship management or in a medical laboratory.
  • High degree in one of the following majors - Chemistry, Biology, Science, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering.
  • Computer networking skills would be a plus.
  • Willing to become an expert in new technologies.
  • Passionate about communication with people and customer focus.
  • Fluent Italian and Spanish. English is desirable.

Afin de soutenir notre objectif et de participer à une nouvelle transformation, nous recherchons un(e) Spécialiste des Solutions Techniques pour rejoindre notre équipe. Plus que jamais, le Support Technique représente une part croissante de l'offre proposée aux clients. En tant que membre de l'équipe de Support Technique, vous aurez un impact sur nos clients en fournissant un support à distance dans les domaines technique et diagnostique, pour l'ensemble de notre gamme de produits de laboratoires médicaux et d'automatisation, incluant le Point of Care/Molecular, la Médecine Transfusionnelle et les Laboratoires Cliniques. Vous apporterez une assistance et communiquerez avec nos clients par e-mail et par téléphone.

Vos missions :

  • Enquêter, dépanner et gérer les réclamations et demandes des clients concernant la chimie, les équipements et les logiciels, en conformité avec les procédures internes et les exigences des clients.
  • Participer aux astreintes.
  • Maintenir ses compétences techniques, sa connaissance des procédures de l'entreprise et ses compétences relationnelles avec les clients.
  • Travailler de manière autonome et en équipe.
  • Contribuer à l'améliorations des processus.
  • Participer à des réunions avec les filiales, sur site ou par appel téléphonique.

Votre profil :

  • Formation de technicien de laboratoire médical, biomédical, technique ou en sciences de la vie, éventuellement avec une expérience en gestion de la relation client ou en laboratoire médical.
  • Diplôme dans l'une des disciplines suivantes : Chimie, Biologie, Sciences, Ingénierie, Ingénierie Biomédicale.
  • Des compétences en réseaux informatiques seraient un plus.
  • Volonté de devenir un(e) expert(e) des nouvelles technologies.
  • Passionné(e) par la communication et le service client.
  • Maîtrise de l'italien et de l'espagnol. L'anglais est un atout.
