Paris, Île-de-France Maternal Newborn Health Innovations, PBC Temps plein

About MNHI

Maternal Newborn Health Innovations (MNHI) is a public benefit corporation formed to help caregivers throughout the world reduce avoidable pain, harm and mortality to mothers and newborns during childbirth.

MNHI manufactures the OdonAssist inflatable device for assisted vaginal births, designed to enable a gentle and safe way for obstetricians to assist the birth of newborns during circumstances of prolonged, complicated second-stage labor. It is a new choice, the first truly breakthrough innovation in assisted birth in more than a century

OdonAssist has been in development for over ten years with approximately $40 million in investment to bring it to the commercialization stage. It has been tested in simulated and human clinical studies.

OdonAssist is CE certified and is available for sale to selected hospitals in Italy, the UK and France. MNHI will begin commercializing OdonAssist in other countries and jurisdictions around the world after local regulatory approvals and clearances have been obtained.

We are seeking a dynamic Clinical Account Manager in France, with a strong background in obstetrics (midwife or obstetrician) who also possesses commercial acumen. This hybrid role bridges clinical education and sales, focusing on the successful adoption and integration of OdonAssist in healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in training healthcare professionals, supporting sales initiatives, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Training & Education:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for obstetricians, midwives, and other relevant healthcare professionals on the use of OdonAssist.

  • Provide ongoing support and education to ensure proficiency and confidence among users.
  • Originating/reviewing/approving medical, regulatory, marketing, and communication documents from a Medical Affairs perspective

Business Development:

  • Collaborate closely with the commercial team to identify and engage potential public and private hospitals, and clinical leads across France.
  • Leverage clinical expertise to build trust with stakeholders, facilitating the introduction and uptake of OdonAssist in key maternity units.
  • Support regional business development strategies by mapping target accounts, understanding hospital procurement pathways, and identifying key decision-makers.
  • Represent OdonAssist at major French healthcare events, including Gynazur (Congrès International de Gynécologie-Obstétrique et de Reproduction de la Côte d'Azur), SFMP Congress (Société Française de Médecine Périnatale), Assises Nationales des Sages-Femmes, and other clinical congresses to promote the device, generate leads, and strengthen brand awareness.
  • Act as a liaison between clinical and commercial teams to ensure alignment in messaging, positioning, and implementation plans.
  • Provide input into sales forecasts, territory planning, and account management strategies, ensuring a patient-centered yet commercially sound approach.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify new business opportunities and potential risks.
  • Contribute to tender submissions and procurement presentations with compelling clinical evidence and user insights.
  • Help establish centers of excellence and pilot sites to showcase successful integrations and outcomes.

Clinical Feedback & Product Improvement:

  • Gather feedback from healthcare professionals regarding device performance and user experience.
  • Communicate insights to the product development team to inform enhancements and updates.
  • Stay updated on clinical trends and advancements to ensure OdonAssist remains at the forefront of obstetric care.

Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure all training and educational activities comply with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of training sessions, feedback, and other relevant documentation.
