Offshore Structural Engineer

within our clients' teams, you will work on strategic projects in the energy sector and specifically for Blue Point project.

Scope of Services

The consultant shall perform the following tasks:


• Modelling of the offshore steel structure using Staad Pro & SACS


• Regulatory checks of the structure for transportation fatigue


• Design of any required reinforcements and modifications


• Preparation of the calculation report summarizing the analysis results


• Transfer of all information necessary for the development of structural drawings

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

The studies assigned to the consultant require the following competencies:

− Mastery of offshore structural design and analysis specificities

− Mastery of offshore installation know-how

− Proficiency in applicable design codes (API, AISC, etc.)

− Knowledge and experience with offshore structural analysis software Staad Pro & SACS

− Ability to apply project procedures:

− Regarding document circulation and control

− Regarding strict application of task execution procedures

− Ability to work with the project's standards, rules, and engineering instructions

− Understanding of technical English (reading / comprehension of technical documentation)

− Ability to provide technical reporting to the Project Manager

For this assignment, the conslutant must provide personnel with a minimum of
2 years of experience
as an offshore structural engineer on offshore topsides EPC projects. Experience with Staad Pro and SACS structural analysis software is required and mandatory.
