The AAC, Economics and Law Department at KEDGE brings together professors from various backgrounds: general accounting, financial and extra-financial accounting, auditing & accounting expertise, management control, social and solidarity economics, the circular economy, the collaborative economy, the real estate, urban, and territorial economy, business law, and corporate law.

The successful candidate will join the Food, Wine & Hospitality Center of Excellence which is a founding member of the Alliance for Research on Wine and Hospitality Management.

The AAC, Economics and Law Department invites applications for 1 position at Associate/Full Professor in Economics, specialising in the beverage and/or hospitality industry, ideally with a focus on wine, spirits, coffee and/or restaurants. A strong orientation towards finance is also welcome (balanced profile teaching/research).

Responsibilities :

• Teaching and educational development (undergraduate, graduate and post graduate level) 
• Active participation in the Centre of Excellence for Food, Wine and Hospitality's activities (e.g. seminars and research projects) 
• Publication in academic and professional journals 
• Research projects with companies or international institutions 
• Participation in national and international calls for projects 
• Student supervision and coaching 

Profile and skills required :

• PhD or equivalent 
• Teaching experience related to Finance or Economics applied to the beverage or hospitality industry 
• Publication in the areas of Finance or Economics applied to the beverage or hospitality industry in top-tier international journals

• a teaching statement, including course details and recent course evaluations 
• a research statement

• for doctoral students in their last year of PhD, a letter from the thesis director indicating the state of progress of the PhD and the estimated date of defense

Compensations and benefits:

Permanent contract/ Full time

Status: Executive

Salary: to be negotiated /over 13 months / Bonuses (research, executive education, extra hours, etc.)

Paid leaves 35 days per year + 15 exemption days per year
